Choose a Driving Centre
Select SSDC (Woodlands), BBDC (Bukit Batok), or CDC (Ubi). Choosing one closest to you reduces travel time and makes attending required centre sessions easier.
Register as a Private Learner
Open a private candidate account with your selected driving school. You will need to complete administrative registration and an eyesight test at the centre.
Pass BTT & Apply for PDL
Book and study for your Basic Theory Test (BTT). Upon passing, apply for your Provisional Driving Licence (PDL) online via the SPF portal. A valid PDL is legally required before you can start practical driving.

Pass Final Theory Test (FTT)
While taking your practical lessons, book and pass your Final Theory Test (FTT) at your registered driving centre. Your FTT is valid for two years.
Attend Simulator Courses
Once you have completed at least 5 practical lessons and passed your FTT, book and complete the 3 mandatory simulator training sessions at the school.
Book & Pass Practical Test
Once your instructor assesses that you are ready and you clear your simulator modules, book the practical driving test. Pass it to receive your official driving licence.
